Dr. Naresh Bhatnagar did his Ph D. in 1992 from IIT-Bombay. He worked for several organizations/industries like NBC Jaipur, GunGo R&D Consultants, Premier Automobiles, FIAT Auto - Mumbai etc before joining IIT-Delhi in 1998.
His research interests include:-
Manufacturing technologies
Appropriate rural technologies
Health technologies
Nano technologies
Prosthodontics
Periodontics
Some of his focused research areas are:-
Machining of composites
Injection molding of short and long fiber composites
Nanocomposites
Micro cellular thermoplastics & composites
He has published over 80 papers in journals and conferences and filed 4 patents. He is also involved in biomedical implant manufacturing research problems of human bone scaffolds, coronary stents and pelvic floor disorder prosthesis etc.
